Finally on 7/2/20, after massive delays, CCTV starts functioning on our Estate!
CCTV has been installed by Westminster City Council (WCC) using the Estate's Aerial fund money at no cost to Leaseholders. It has also been agreed that annual maintenance will come out from this fund.
While we have worked and pushed for CCTV installation for a long time, we are very concerned about the increased installation cost, delays and the positioning and effectiveness of the cameras.
Nevertheless, we hope that CCTV will help combat issues such as:
Antisocial behaviour
Drug use and selling
Crime
Rough Sleepers
Fly Tipping
Vandalism
CCTV footage can be inspected only if there is valid reason and usually when there is a crime reference number. Please let us know if you need any help with this.
